Replace Sunglasses Lenses With Prescription Lenses?
I’ve found some nifty shades online and I was wondering if you can replace the lenses with prescription lenses. If I can, where could I get the lenses replaced? Here are the shades, http://www.sunglasswarehouse.com/retro-neon-sunglasses-8792.html , I’d be happy if someone would answer!
It looks like those sunglasses have a one-piece lens, so I don’t think they can put prescription lenses in those. Also a lot of sunglasses frames won’t even accept prescription lenses because they either don’t have the proper groove to accept the lenses, or they curve too much to accept them. Also you can check out some regular eyeglasses sites as they usually have sunglasses frames that will take prescription lenses too. You can try www.go-optic.com, there are many others. Note: sometimes you need to look in with “prescrption glasses” to find prescription sunglasses, sometimes they are a separate section of the site.
