Is it common or likely for a rose gold plated ring to have a marking of a rose or flower on the inside?
I bought this ring off e-bay and there is only one small marking on the inside and it appears to be a rose?? Is it a rose?

your hallmark could be the Yorkshire Rose for Sheffield which means that is the Assay hallmark where the item was tested…have a look at the link.
Rose gold is yellow gold coated in another alloy…like white gold is coated in Rhodium…all gold starts of life as Yellow.
