how do you shrink a wool sweater on purpose. Thank you for your time.?
Or are there businesses that will do it for a you professionally and how much would it usually cost. Its a xl size wool sweater. What i’m attempting to do is make it a medium with a vintage appearance to it. Thank You. Don’t be an ass and lie to me, trying not to be rude but i must be careful as the sweater is very expensive
The only thing i know of is drying it but you said it is expensive so it might not work as well as i was thinking. Well yea thats all i could come up with is washing it and drying w/ high heat on both.

The Rathaus Bremen
On the first floor is a huge banquet hall with high arched windows, ornate wooden carvings, and models of old sailing ships suspended over its long tables.

While Bremen is well known for its beer, it is also Germany’s leading wine trans-shipment center, and down in the Rathaus basement its famous Ratskeller Bacchuskeller restaurant offers a choice of 600 different German wines. Its cellars hold almost one million bottles of German wine alone. Some of the vintages are centuries old, and you had better ask the price.
The vaulted cellar restaurant can seat up to 600 and serves a wide choice of good, hearty food, with fish dominating the menu. You can also enjoy a good North Sea Scholle (plaice) at the Deutsches Haus, a fish restaurant next to the Rathaus at Am Markt 1. Tel: (421) 3290920.
Before leaving the Rathaus area, take a look at the amusing Bremer Stadtmusikanten (Bremen Town Musicians) statue at its west entrance, portraying in descending pyramidical order a cockerel, a cat, a dog, and an ass. The group, from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, was created in 1953 by local sculptor and graphic artist Gerhard Marcks, who felt Bremen should play up its connection with the Fairy Tale Road. The Gerhard Marcks House, Am Wall 208, is dedicated to his works. The Kunsthalle (Art Gallery), whose main holdings are 15th to 20thcentury European paintings and 17th to 20thcentury sculptures, is at Am Wall 207.
The Dom Cathedral Bremen
Bremen’s Dom St. Petri (St. Peter’s Cathedral), next to the Rathaus to the southeast, has a history as a church site going back 1,200 years; construction of its Gothic main building was begun in 1042. A Lutheran church since the Reformation, it was damaged in World War II, and it took 15 years to restore it to its former glory. Special points of interest include a 16th century Madonna and Child at the chancel, pulpit carvings from the same century, an 11thcentury crypt with a 13thcentury font (the ”Lion’s Bowl), and a Gottfried Silbermann organ dating from 1744.
Excavation work for a new heating system in the early 1970s uncovered a medieval cemetery containing the graves of 22 bishops. The vestments, miter, and crosier of Bremen’s first bishop, which were in incredibly good condition, are now on display in the cathedral museum, which also houses medieval murals, stone relics, sculptures, and other treasures found by the excavators. For a chill, visit the cathedral’s Bleikammer (Leaden Chamber), which contains several mummified corpses believed to have been recovered from dunes along the Weser.
